How to Make a Complaint

Last updated: October 2026

We want every homeowner who contacts Surfingwater Plumbing to be treated fairly and honestly. If something went wrong, please let us know. This page explains how to raise a complaint and what happens next. It is a general template. It is not legal advice.

What You Can Raise With Us

You can contact us about:

  • Your experience calling or contacting Surfingwater Plumbing
  • How your personal information was handled
  • Information on this site you think is unclear or wrong
  • How a plumber we connected you with behaved

Problems With a Provider

Plumbers in our network are independent businesses. They are responsible for their own estimates, prices, work and customer service. If you have a problem with work done in your home, the first step is usually to raise it with the plumber directly. Keep a written record of what you said and when.

We still want to know. Feedback about providers helps us keep the network honest. Providers who keep falling short of our expectations may be removed from the network. Please note that Surfingwater Plumbing cannot settle contract disputes, give refunds for a provider's work or make decisions for a provider.

How to Send a Complaint

Email contact@surfingwater.com and include:

  • Your name and how to reach you
  • The date you contacted us or the plumber
  • The phone number you called or the form you used, if you remember
  • The name of the plumbing provider, if you know it
  • A clear account of what happened and what you would like us to do

What Happens Next

We will confirm we got your complaint by email, usually within a few business days. We will look into what happened. This may include contacting the provider. Then we will reply with what we found and any steps we are taking.

If You Are Still Unhappy

If you are not satisfied with our reply, you can write back and ask us to look again. You can also contact your state's consumer protection office or attorney general, or your local Better Business Bureau. For problems with plumbing work, your state or local plumbing licensing board may also be able to help.
